Description The Intermediate course is suitable for people who already have a well established practice in the general Sivananda yoga style class and are looking for more challenging variations and new postures. This course is not suitable for beginners and a personal consultation with the teacher is recommended for people who intend to participate in this course. It's purpose is to challenge students both physically and mentally and maximize the benefits that the practice of more advanced Yoga asanas provides. Although the core structure of the Sivananda class remains the same as the General class, many new variations and complementary postures are introduced. The course is structured in such a way that each day of the week is dedicated to focusing on different areas. For example: strengthening, stretching and balancing. The introduction of new postures is therefore tailored to compliment the days topic. |
